Nov. 18: Mindful Marketing for LMTs

So I’ve got this marketing workshop for LMTs coming up at East West College of the Healing Arts here in Portland

Chances are, if you’re a massage therapist or even still a student, this is not the first opportunity for you to learn about marketing. There was that one business class. A couple articles in trade magazines. Facebook ads from marketing experts. Ebooks. Random friends of friends telling you that you should totally do this thing or the other.

And I have no doubt some of it was helpful, and there’s probably more potentially helpful information and advice to come your way. Not to mention new marketing tools, platforms, and avenues.

Even with all its value, that sheer volume of marketing input can be overwhelming.

This workshop I am planning is about giving you a framework for choosing the pieces that suit you and your individual business, and for integrating them in a marketing style and strategy that works for your strengths and your personality – and your schedule and budget, too.

With a solid framework, receiving and evaluation marketing options feels different. Calm and confident. Chin up, spine straight, shoulders relaxed. That’s in a nutshell what I mean by mindful marketing.

My ambition is that you’ll find marketing less daunting, more doable, and maybe even a little exciting after the workshop. Or at least once you start seeing the results: perhaps more of the right clients, or a fuller schedule, or just more free time, energy, and brain space to dedicate to your core work. You choose.

If that sounds interesting to you and you’re free on Tuesday, November 18, you can RSVP via East West College here. It’s $40, and eligible for 2 CEUs.

I’d be thrilled to see you there.

I hope you have a good time teaching this class. After this week, I will write to you about the flyer you created and should I make it as part of my website. Thanks.
